Today, I had the PET scan that my oncologist requested back in March. This scan will confirm whether the cancer has progressed since the last one done in August 2025 — and will determine when the treatment finally begins.
I was the eleventh patient of the day, so I had to wait for a while. The scan itself took about 20 minutes. The results will be available in a few days, then I will have an appointment with the doctor to discuss them and the next steps.
